After-sales service terms and conditions

Wiseelab Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") provides after-service for products sold through the WiseeLAB Official Online Store (hereinafter referred to the "Official Online Store") operated by the Company, under the following terms and conditions.
By using the Company's after-service, Customers are deemed to have agreed to the contents of these Terms.
Article 1: Scope of This Service
1. Products covered by this service (hereinafter referred to as "Covered Products") are Company products, accessories, and related items specified by the Company that are purchased through the Official Online Store.
2. The following items and information are not covered by this service:
- Consumable items as described in the instruction manual, etc.
- Deterioration due to normal use, consumable parts
- Data, software, applications, etc. stored within the product
However, consumable items may be covered only in the case of initial defects reported to the Company within 8 days of product arrival.
3. For products purchased outside the Official Online Store, please contact the retailer where you made the purchase.
4. Products purchased through auctions, private transactions, second-hand sales, etc. are not covered by this service.
5. This service is provided to customers in countries/regions where the Company sells and ships products. However, the available service details and response methods may vary depending on the customer's country/region, Covered Products, logistics conditions, laws, and other circumstances.
Article 2: Content of This Service
The Company provides the following after-service for Covered Products:
1. Response to initial defects
2. Product exchange
3. Repair service within the warranty period
4. Paid repair service outside the warranty period
5. Other responses that the Company deems necessary
This service is intended to restore the functionality and performance of the product, and does not guarantee the product's suitability for the customer's specific usage, operating environment, or individual requirements.
Article 3: Warranty Period
1. The manufacturer's warranty period is as stated on the Covered Product's product page or on the warranty period list separately designated by the Company.
2. The warranty period shall, in principle, commence from the date the Covered Product is delivered to the customer (date of delivery completion).
3. The product arrival date shall be determined based on the shipping records of the Company or the shipping carrier.
4. The warranty period shall not be extended or reset even if repairs, exchanges, or other after-service are received.
5. The Company currently does not offer a new extended warranty program. However, for products whose warranty period was extended under an extended warranty program previously implemented by the Company and which meet the applicable conditions, that extended warranty period shall continue to apply.
Article 4: Initial Defects
1. If a product malfunction occurs within 8 days of product arrival, the customer should contact the Company's Customer Support.
2. If, upon confirmation by the Company, the issue is determined to be a manufacturing defect or initial defect, the Company will provide a free exchange or take necessary action.
3. The following cases are not covered as initial defects:
(1) Malfunctions caused by dropping, impact, water exposure, modification, etc. by the customer
(2) Use of the product in a manner other than that described in the instruction manual
(3) External scratches, stains, or deterioration due to use
(4) Cases where the purchase history or order number cannot be confirmed
(5) Products purchased outside the Official Online Store
Article 5: Returns and Refunds
1. Returns due to customer circumstances will be accepted only within 8 days of product arrival and if the following conditions are met:
- The product is unopened and unused
- The complete set (accessories, original box, etc.) is included
- The product is returned using the method designated by the Company
2. Returns and refunds cannot be accepted in the following cases:
- Used products
- Products with missing accessories
- Products damaged or soiled by the customer
- Cases exceeding 8 days after product arrival
3. In the case of returns due to customer circumstances, the return shipping fee and refund-related fees shall be borne by the customer.
4. Refunds will, in principle, be processed through the PayPal payment method used at the time of order. However, if this is not possible due to PayPal or payment institution specifications, the Company may refund through other methods designated by the Company.
5. The timing of the refund varies depending on the payment service or financial institution used.
Article 6: Warranty Repairs
1. During the warranty period, if the issue is determined to be covered by the warranty after confirmation by the Company, the Company will provide free repair or exchange.
2. The following cases are not covered by the warranty and may result in paid repair or inability to provide service:
- Malfunctions caused by dropping, impact, water exposure, etc.
- Malfunctions caused by modification, disassembly, or unauthorized repairs
- Malfunctions caused by misuse or inappropriate operating environment
- Damage caused by natural disasters or other force majeure events
- Malfunctions caused by combination with third-party products
3. In any of the following cases, the product may not be covered even within the warranty period:
(1) The serial number, identification label, etc. on the product body or accessories have been tampered with, removed, or rendered illegible
(2) Malfunctions caused by the use of parts, accessories, power adapters, cables, etc. not designated by the Company
(3) Cases where the Company determines that the issue is caused by modifications to software, firmware, or other systems
(4) Other malfunctions or failures that the Company determines are not attributable to the Company's responsibility
Article 7: Paid Repairs
1. After the warranty period expires or for malfunctions not covered by the warranty, the Company may offer paid repair services.
2. When performing paid repairs, the Company will provide an estimate of the repair costs and commence repairs after obtaining the customer's consent.
3. If the customer wishes to proceed with the repair, the repair fees must be paid through the payment method designated by the Company.
4. Repair services may not be available due to the availability of repair parts, etc.
Article 8: Shipping and Delivery Costs
1. During the warranty period, if the product malfunction is determined to be the Company's responsibility, shipping fees required for repair or exchange shall, in principle, be borne by the Company.
2. Shipping fees and related costs incurred in the case of returns due to customer circumstances, non-warranty repairs, paid repairs, or cases where no product malfunction is found after confirmation by the Company, shall be borne by the customer.
3. In cases involving international shipping, customs duties, import taxes, etc. may apply depending on the country/region. Regarding the burden of these costs, the Company will provide individual guidance based on the nature of the malfunction and the response status.
4. If the customer returns the product using a method other than that designated by the Company, the Company shall not be responsible for any shipping fees, additional costs, loss, or damage arising from such return.
Article 9: International After-Service
1. Since the Company sells products to customers in multiple countries/regions, the method of providing after-service may vary depending on the customer's country/region, the Covered Product, the logistics environment, etc.
2. The Company may individually determine the repair/exchange method (return repair, parts replacement, replacement product shipment, etc.).
3. The origin of shipment for repaired or exchanged products, the return address, and the service center shall be designated by the Company.
4. Due to international shipping, customs procedures, and logistics conditions in each country/region, repair and exchange responses may take longer than usual.
5. In some countries/regions, part or all of this service may not be available due to logistics, laws, or other circumstances.
Article 10: Precautions During Repair and Exchange
1. During repair or exchange, product settings, saved data, etc. may be lost.
2. Before requesting repair, customers should back up any necessary data themselves.
3. The Company shall not be responsible for any loss of data during repair or exchange.
4. New or refurbished products with equivalent performance may be provided as replacement items.
5. Products, main units, parts, or accessories collected during repair or exchange shall not be returned, except as otherwise provided by law or regulation.
Article 11: Handling of Personal Information
1. The Company shall properly manage personal information acquired to the extent necessary for providing this service, in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy.
2. The Company uses personal information for the following purposes:
(1) Checking product condition and investigating causes
(2) Handling repairs, exchanges, and returns
(3) Communication necessary for providing this service
3. Except as required by law, the Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the customer's consent.
Article 12: Disclaimer
1. The Company shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, business losses, damages to third parties, etc. arising from the inability to use the Covered Products.
2. The Company shall not be liable for damages caused by natural disasters, war, terrorism, transportation disruptions, customs delays, force majeure, or other events beyond its control.
3. Except as otherwise provided by law, the Company's total liability to a customer shall be limited to the purchase price actually paid by the customer for the Covered Product in question. This limitation does not apply in cases of the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 13: Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces
If the Company determines that a customer falls under the category of anti-social forces, the Company may suspend or terminate the provision of this service.
Article 14: Changes to These Terms
The Company may revise these Terms as necessary.
The revised Terms shall become effective upon posting on the Company's website.
Article 15: Governing Law
The formation, validity, performance, and interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the country/region where the Company is located.
However, this shall not prevent the application of mandatory consumer protection laws in the customer's country/region of residence.
Article 16: Customs Duties and Taxes
For matters concerning customs duties, import taxes, etc., the provisions set forth in "Shipping and Payment" shall apply.
